JUSTIN BIEBER STORMS THE CHARTS, AS SECOND WEEK SALES OF MY WORLD 2.0 OUTSCORE FIRST WEEK’s #1 SOUNDSCAN DEBUT!

My World 2.0 contains the back-to-back hits “Baby” (the album’s first #1 video and Top 5 single, featuring Ludacris) and the current smash “Somebody To Love.” First time since the Beatles’ 2000 hits set “1” that an album by an artist or group had a second-week increase from a #1 debut, according to Billboard. MY WORLD 2.0, a new album of 10 all-new songs, follows-up the platinum debut My World which moves up this week to #8.

My World featured Justin’s first four Top 40 hits on the Hot 100, “One Time” (RIAA platinum), “One Less Lonely Girl,” “Love Me,” and “Favorite Girl.” In 2009, Justin became the first solo artist in history to send four songs from a debut album into the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 40 prior to the album’s release.

Fans yearning to see Justin in concert will get their wish with his first headlining tour of North America. The two and a half month “My World” Tour, presented by AEG Live, will feature Sean Kingston as special guest as well as Jessica Jarrell. The tour opens June 23rd at XL Center in Hartford, CT, blazing a trail through more than 40 cities before wrapping up in Allentown, PA on September 4th.
